ASSEVERATIONS

I am not a citizen. I am an alien living in a foreign land.
I am not a patriot. I am an insurgent for Christ.
I do not salute the flag. I kneel before the Cross.
I do not vote. I am a subject of the Most High King!
I will not take up arms. Instead I turn the other cheek.
I will not fight for my rights. His grace is enough.
I refuse to be afraid. I am a child of the LORD.
I refuse to conform. I bear the image of the Living God.
I cannot hate. His love shatters my heart.
I cannot look away. He calls me to action.
No idols. Only Jesus.
